STOCKTON MRI RADIOLOGISTS

Stockton MRI & Molecular Imaging Medical Center, Inc.is staffed by two board certified radiologists: Javad Jamshidi, M.D., Jack Funamura, M.D. and a board certified nuclear medicine physician, Francis Isidoro, M.D. They have been in forefront of advanced medical imaging and have cutting edge medical imaging technology at their disposal in Stockton MRI & Molecular Imaging Medical Center.

	Dr. Jamshidi is one of the first radiologists to get involved with MRI in our community and was formerly the director of San Joaquin Magnetic Resonance Center in Stockton from its inception in 1986 through 1991. His interest in body imaging and especially in MRI dates back to the early days of MRI development in 1984.	Dr. Jamshidi
	Dr. Funamura was born and raised in San Joaquin County and has been practicing in Stockton since 1981. He has vast experience in body imaging including Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), and MRI.	Dr. Funamura
	Dr. Isidoro has recently joined Stockton MRI in 2005. His field of expertise is in Molecular Imaging and Nuclear Medicine therapy, with additional experience and fellowship training in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and PET-CT.	Dr. Isidoro

STOCKTON MRI TECHNICAL STAFF

We have an excellent technical staff with vast experience in the field of radiology with additional qualifications and certification in the subspecialty fields of MRI ,CT, PET, Nuclear Medicine & Ultrasound.

	Stanley F. Dobretz, BA (HSA), RT, (R), (MR), (CT), (ARRT) is our Technical and Medical Administrator. Stan has been in cross sectional imaging since the early days of CT scan in 1975, and is one of the most knowledgeable technologist in this field. His additional education in the field of medical management, gives him a unique perspective to oversee the daily activities of our operation from both technical and management point of views	Stan
	Following the footsteps of Stan is Jeannie (Jody) H. File, RT, (R), (MR), (ARRT). Jody has been a technologist since 1978 and has vast experience in conventional radiology, angiography, interventional radiology and cross sectional imaging. Like Stan, Jody was one the first technologists to begin using MRI in 1986.	Jody
	Karen Freitas-Debono, RT, (CT), (ARRT) joined us in 1996. She is truly an all around radiologic technologist. There is no field in radiology that Karen has not worked and did not master, from mammography to cardiac catheterization lab. Her latest adventure is in MRI.	Karen
	Lee D. Philippi, RT, (R), (MR), (CT), (ARRT) has extensive experience in conventional radiology and cross sectional imaging, especially the CT scan. He has been doing MRI for the past five years and through his intelligence and perseverance has mastered it very well.	Lee
	Victor Ball, RT, (R), (CT), (ARRT). Victor has 18 years of experience in conventional and special procedures and CT scanning. He has mastered MRI in a short period and is an integral part of our team for excellence in patient care.	Victor
	Shirin Pirzadeh, RT, (ARDMS), (AART) is registered x-ray technologist with additional qualification and licensure in ultrasonography. Her warm and caring attitude is the essential element for the success of our ultrasound department.	Shirin
	Andrew Mayer, MBA, RTN, is in charge of our PET - CT and Nuclear Medicine department. He has been a technologist in this field for more than 25 years. His knowledge and expertise combined with his excellent clinical manner are appreciated by our patients and his colleagues alike.	Andy

STOCKTON MRI ADMINISTRATION

Our office staff is headed by Lisa Herbst who has been with Stockton MRI Medical Center since its inception. She is supported by Wendy, Sandra, Alysha, Tiffany, Olga, Martha, Ali, Candace, and Joy. Our staff is well known for their warm personalities and courteous manner to our patients.
